Marcus Jordan

Michael Jordan's son leads team to state title

Michael Jordan celebrates his son's championship.

Marcus Jordan, son of Bulls' six-time champion, scored a game-high of 19 points, to lead Chicago's Whitney Young to a 69-66 victory over Waukegan in Illinois Class 4A championship this past Saturday.

Marcus Jordan and his teammates celebrated on the court after the final buzzer, Michael Jordan, clapping his hands with tears in his eyes.

Michail Jordan said in response to reporter's question. Crying. Not for me, anyway."

Marcus Jordan was the key down the stretch after his two teammates fouled out, hitting four for four free throws in the final three minutes to victory.

"Awesome," Marcus Jordan said. "Just awesome."

Co-owner of the Charlotte Bobcats, Michael Jordan, skipped his team's loss to Indiana, just so he could attend his son's game. And with out regret. Jordan's other son, Jeff Jordan, plays basketball for the University of Illinois.
