A high-priced former madam who used to provide hookers for former New York Gov Elliot Spitzer, claims in a published report on Sunday, that she provided the same services for injured Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez.
"In regard to Alex, all I can say is our paths have definitely crossed personally and professionally," former madam Kristin Davis told the New York Daily News.
Spitzer, who resigned in disgrace, was referred to as "Client No. 9" by the call-girl ring's bookers. A-Rod, who is currently in Vail, Colo., rehabbing after hip surgery, wears uniform No. 13.
In another report Sunday on the New York Post's Web site, Davis, 32, said of A-Rod: "I'm not going to deny there was a relationship there. Let's just say there's some sort of connection there."
The Daily News story also included steamy e-mails purportedly between Davis and Rodriguez. When confronted with the e-mails, Davis told the newspaper: "Other people have access to my client records as well as my personal information and I can't control what has been released."
